I was wondering what are the benefits of being a PR member, and if I can use my epic store ID and not a steam ID, and the last question does it cost money. Sorry if this question was asked before

Merged your other topic with this one.

You can use the epic store nickname in the signup form. The Main benefit is that you have queue priority when the server is full. There is no cost to join but some members donate.

  2. Hey, Welcome to the PR site.

If you want to join the clan you will need to go above to the PR Menu / Apply here.

You may also wish to join the discord from the discord button that is on the bar to the left of a lot of the pages on the site. ?

  3. Welcome friend!

As a new member you will be receiving a free rice cooker! (Subject to stolen Vietnamese stock). ETA on cookers is sometime within the next decade.

Glad you finally decided to join us and hope to see you at hour nightly custom hour around 7:30PM GMT.

    Hi all,

I've been playing RS2 pretty much exclusively in the PR servers so finally gotten my arse into gear and signed up.

    See you all in Discord/'nam!

    Hey James,

New to rising storm but find myself really enjoying it. Hopefully I'll run into some of you in the server sometime.

Welcome to RS2 and Phantom Rebels! Let us know if you have any questions or issues. We are more active on the discord.

  6. Tonight we host the Tripwire Community Game Night!

This will be 2 hours of custom maps on -=PR=- #1 server on Rising Storm. We are the second community to have been picked for this great honor.

Tripwire will be streaming the event live via twitch https://www.twitch.tv/tripwireinteractive

Our maps can be pre-loaded via subbing to our workshop collection https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2059623972

  7. Come one, come all!

You are cordially invited to the first ever Phantom Rebels community day! On the 30th of this month during custom hour, we’ll be opening a special private server for you! Yes you! For a full session of RS2 matches of your choice as a reward for all your hard work working the rice fields and fueling our propaganda factories!

All you need to do is let us know if you're interested and you'll receive a golden ticket to the server in the form of a password.
There are limited places, as we can’t afford to let you all have too much fun at once without damaging our means of production, so let us know soon via the Member Calendar here !!!

We’re also running a vote on what maps you want to play which you can access here:

make the most of it though, because it's the only vote we will ever let you have a say on!!!

    Lots of love,
    Phantom Rebels

    P.S.
There's a shiny prize for the best player, and those that attend may even get an invitation to the first PR wedding, which is coming to you this spring (date to be announced.)

  8. Rules are very well enforced provided one of our team is online to do that. We use our free time in enforcing server rules and moderating.

While we could give every member admin rights it was decided a long time ago it was better to have a limited number of staff that are level headed rather then all members able to kick or ban. As such there will be times (specially in US night hours) where there is limited staff coverage.

We do expand our staff team when we can but only when someone can be trusted and has earned that right.

As Community Manager I do apologise for any issues you may have experienced and can say this is not typical of a Phantom Rebels server and that you just got unlucky.

We do use Vote kick at night, specially in those US hours to help self-moderate servers, the function can be abused at times, but it is a better choice then having the servers emptied completely by someone mass team killing or yelling racist remarks over the comms.

  9. Well what a year it has been!

I wanted to reach out this holiday season and say a big massive thank you for being a member of the Phantom Rebels community.
I know times have been tough on some members of our community throughout the year mentally, physically and financially. We have as a result setup a welfare-check channel in Discord for any of you that might need help and our staff team monitors this closely.

We have had literally hundreds of players coming through our community servers daily and discord I just wanted to recognize how hard the Phantom Rebels Members and Staff have been working to make this the great place it is becoming, Phantom Rebels is now home to over 140+ active members and growing daily.

We do have big plans in the future involving training and maybe even inter-clan wars somewhere down the line, details on all this will be written up somewhere in Q1 of 2021.
That's all I have for now, so I wish everyone Happy Holidays and a great new year and we will see you in the battlefield!

  10. Going forward from recent events taking place on voice chat, new policy is now in place.
This applies to in-game voice too as some comments on there have almost been personal attacks and will stop immediately.

Going forward yelling random comments at people is going to likely get you kicked from voice.

Where people are joining a channel and yelling f you or penis or anything like that will no longer be allowed. This includes in conversation where people are telling others f you or anything along those lines.

Even if you are being sarcastic or joking it can be hard to tell and taken out of context.

Our game channels are public and general messing around and having a laugh is fine. What is especially important is how people are greeted when they join the channel, this will be heavily moderated from now on.

Those yelling unfriendly or random words will be disconnected from voice without any warnings given.
Repeat offenders will lose voice access entirely. This policy is in full effect as of now.
